Enjoy this tranquil, private location for your holiday.
Situated less than 90 miles from central London and 40 miles from Cambridge, Gingell Cottage is both an ideal location for busy weekenders or professionals with business in the area. For the serious leisure seeker we offer a wonderful environment for children (we have a number of our own), with our own horses and stables, a zip wire and bicycles for hire. We can arrange a number of different activities - fishing, health & beauty treatments, equine training from international riders - or just leave you in peace.
The cottage, drenched in light and the Suffolk sun, offers very flexible accommodation. Book a self contained, lockable room for single or double occupancy or book the full cottage. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom and flatscreen TV. The cottage has three TV's in total, so the accommodation can house two separate couples or individuals, or offer a wonderul location for family or friends.
The design has been logically and carefully planned. The intention from the outset was to offer more than just a B&B, hotel or holiday cottage. It offers the ultimate in flexibility for holiday makers and business people with durations from 1 night to 3 months available. And just because you're disconnected from the rat-race, doesn't mean you're disconnected: broadband wi-fi is available in the cottage and grounds .
Located within the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, this cottage is perfect for children and adults who love all things rural with the convenience of the local Town, Bury St Edmunds.
With our own equestrian business and stabling available, and with Newmarket just a short-drive away, we specialise in horse riding and equestrian-themed short holidays. We also have an in-house Therapy Clinic. If you would like a deep tissue massage, reflexology, aromatherapy allergy test or stress consultation during your stay then email us for more information.
The area includes picturesque market towns such as Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury (the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough), important heritage sites such as Eye and Lavenham and the famous “wool” towns with their tumbled, medieval houses and magnificent churches. The area made famous by the landscape artist, John Constable, is also within easy reach
